Brett Muller
I'm an entrepreneur and small business coach in Dallas–Fort Worth. I help owners make the difficult journey from working in the business to working on it.
My climb
I've spent more than 15 years leading small businesses. Today I'm Owner and Chairman of the Board of Guardian Services, a North Texas commercial services company founded in 1945. I also founded Socket Wrench, a private venture studio that launches new service businesses.
It wasn't always a view from the top. I remember the lonely stretches: grinding on a project at 10 p.m. on a weekend and wondering why. I was on the brink and looking for the exit when a mentor walked me through the early steps of hiring and delegating. That changed everything.
I discovered my passion for mentorship and coaching through the Entrepreneurs' Organization. Over five years, I took the process I developed to elevate out of the day-to-day in my own businesses and refined it into a program for other owners: the Elevation Plan.
It's time to elevate and grow together.

I wrote these years ago and have revised them over time. When I face a difficult decision, I reread them. They don't always give me the answer, but they point me in the right direction. Writing your own is step two of the plan.
